A hot-air balloon ride at dawn has become Cappadocia’s iconic experience. As the sun rises, dozens of balloons drift above the valleys and fairy chimneys, creating some of the most photographed views in Turkey. Flights are weather-dependent, so it’s wise to plan at least two or three mornings in Cappadocia to increase your chances.
